Shane has worked in legal services since 2004, and founded Encore in 2014 after a decade in every seat in the business — from the courthouse filing counter to regional manager over a national firm's Texas operations. That history is why Encore is built the way it is: he has personally been on the wrong end of a rejected filing, an evasive defendant, and a return that would not hold up. Today he sets the firm's standards and builds the workflows behind them — and he is Encore's closer on the defendants nobody else can reach. When a serve looks dead, it lands on Shane's desk, and when all seems lost, he finds a way: another address, another angle, another route to good service. He still takes client calls and escalations himself, which is the fastest way he knows to find out whether the standard is actually holding.
Co-founder, mother, and the heart of the company — Debbie has been at the center of Encore since the day it opened. She runs customer service, affidavit preparation, and oversight of the firm's process servers — and she builds out the statewide server and investigator network that carries Encore's standard into the field. All of it with a passion for serving clients and keeping orders moving. If a serve stalls, an affidavit needs correcting, or a client is unhappy, it lands on her desk — and she is known, inside the company and out, for refusing to let go of a problem until it is resolved to the client's complete satisfaction, not merely closed. The service standard Encore runs on is the one she set: tell the truth about where a case stands, then fix what is wrong.

Catherine always has a solution. As Encore's customer lead, she takes ownership of a client's request and runs it to ground — researching the file, digging into the history, and following up until the answer is complete, not just quick. She also manages Encore's priority orders and the assignments that demand the highest level of detail: the court-deadline jobs, the multi-party serves, the files where nothing can slip. If it has to be right the first time, it goes through Catherine.
Kirsten runs the operational middle of every case — routing serves to the right server, watching attempt logs, and stepping in the moment a file stops moving. As lead investigator, she takes over when the easy path fails: vetting addresses before the first attempt, running skip traces on evasive defendants, and building the substitute-service groundwork attorneys need for their motions. Her standard is simple: a case in her queue is never waiting on Encore. If it's stalled, there's a documented reason and a next step already in motion.
Amy coordinates the daily flow of serves across Texas and the national network — assigning papers, confirming deadlines, and keeping every attempt inside the court's service window. She's the checkpoint between intake and the field: documents verified, addresses vetted, and special instructions actually read before a server rolls. When a rush job lands at 4 p.m., Amy is the reason it's in a server's hands that evening — and the reason the affidavit that comes back is right the first time.
You can build the smartest case strategy in Texas, and it still ends the same way: someone standing at a door with your papers in hand, deciding how hard to try. That moment is our entire business — which is why we will never hand it to a stranger.
The big platforms treat that moment like a commodity: auction the job, lowest bid wins, hope for the best. We do the opposite. Encore's field team is hand-picked and proven — a deep bench of servers in the Houston metro and a vetted network across Texas, many of whom have carried our standard for years. They work territory they know cold: the gated communities, the evasive registered agents, the apartment complexes where the leasing office is the real gatekeeper. And we pay them like professionals, because that is what keeps professionals at the door.
