Accessibility statement.

Encore Legal Academy wants every Texas process server to be able to complete their continuing education on this site. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA for the Academy pages and the course player, and we keep working toward that standard.

What the course provides

• Every narrated screen carries a full on-screen transcript of the narration, so the course can be completed without audio.
• All interactions (sorting, ordering, matching and knowledge checks) can be completed with a keyboard as well as a mouse or touch.
• Text, controls and panels meet or exceed a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their background; the course does not rely on colour alone to convey meaning.
• The course player works in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on desktop, tablet and phone, and respects browser zoom up to 200%.
• Quizzes and the end-of-course assessment are standard web forms that work with screen readers.

Timed elements

The JBCC requires providers to record actual participation time, so each module has a minimum seat time and the end-of-course assessment has a 60-minute limit. If a disability makes a time limit a barrier, contact us before you start and we will arrange an accommodation that preserves the participation record the Commission requires.

Third-party components

Payment, account and course-delivery functions use third-party software (including LearnDash and Gravity Forms). We select components that publish accessibility conformance information and report any issues we find to the vendor.
